2. Accessibility Service Permission

SafeScroll uses Accessibility Service strictly to provide core safety features. It is used to:

Detect and block adult or explicit content in real time
Detect when restricted apps are opened to apply focus limits
Automatically exit restricted apps using system navigation actions
Monitor app protection settings to prevent unauthorized removal

SafeScroll may take temporary screenshots to analyze content using on-device AI.

Important:

Images are processed locally on your device
Screenshots are never stored
Screen data is never uploaded
Screen content is never shared

All content detection runs entirely offline on your device.

3. Data Storage & Security

Personal account data (email, phone number, year of birth) is securely stored in Firebase. Screen data and AI detection results are processed locally and are not stored on external servers. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information.

4. Children’s Privacy

SafeScroll may be installed by parents on devices used by children. We do not knowingly collect additional personal data from children beyond account information provided by the parent or guardian. Parents are responsible for supervising their child’s device usage.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information only with secure service providers (such as Firebase) or if required by law.

6. Your Control

You can revoke permissions at any time in device settings, request deletion of your account data, or uninstall the app at any time.
